All of our recordings are live and we run 3 separate formats simultaneously. No down-sampling. We run analog tape, 44.1/16-bit digital, and 96/24-bit digital. We use our own computer we (Scott Sedillo) built with our own converters and our own method of making these 3 formats recorded. Beno designed the console with minimum circuitry to ensure the sound is pure. No limiting/compressing or additional processing when we’re recording. We’re able to get the resolution of 2 microphones but with over 12 microphones. Our proprietary approach is what makes our recordings one-of-a kind from the ground up.
Some of our cds rival our vinyl quality unlike any other dual comparisons one can make. This is attributed to the careful approach and experience of the master Bernie Grundman.
